SUPPORTING EQUITABLE ACCESS TO RECREATION
Astoria Parks, Recreation, and Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 committed to accessible recreation and wellness opportunities. People like you power our programs.
We fund swimming lessons for all 4th graders in the Astoria School District and we provide funding for youth sports and after school programs run by Astoria Parks & Recreation.
We partner with other organizations for recreation projects. In 2023 we partnered with Sports Serve Astoria and Astoria Parks & Recreation to build pickle ball courts at Fred Lindstrom Park.
May 10, 2025 - Astoria's premiere half marathon, 10k, and 5k with after party at Buoy Beer Lagerfest. Run on the River proceeds go toward 4th grade swimming lessons, youth sports, after school, and summer camp scholarships. Recreation for all!
Since 1993, we have provided scholarships and grants committed to accessible recreation and wellness opportunities in Clatsop County.
